London Youth Music Theatre

THE SHOW MUST GO ON! London Youth Music Theatre, is pleased to announce its return to the West End. We are delighted to be back. We have had a name change to include opera and music theatre.

In addition to its own productions, students have previously been asked to take part in productions at the Royal Albert Hall, South Bank Centre, Barbican Centre and St. Paul's Church Covent Garden. Recordings have taken place at the Abbey Road Studios. Students have also filmed for Sky Arts and the BBC. The company audio records and films at its rehearsal venue, the Umbrella Rooms, Covent Garden. Auditions will take place at the Umbrella Rooms on Saturday June 5th. Students will be given an audition time once application forms are in.

The company will be revising its last opera Gian Carlo Menotti's 'Amahl and the Night Visitors'. The creative team is selected from the London opera houses and West End musicals. For 'Amahl' this has been international music director Oliver Gooch, Royal Opera House director Pedro Riberio, and choreographer Philip Joel.
